Unwanted quiet times

When we spend our lives working, at a business or in a career, or on a farm for example, we are used to producing some product or service on a regular basis. We discipline ourselves to get up on time, and to do what needs to be done. Then things change. The change can be dictated by sickness, downsizing, retirement, or by some other circumstance. We then have forced quiet time.
